AAU FAQs:

  • How many players are on a team? We try our best to stay at 10 players may be on a team. In some cases no more than 11 players to a team

  • Do players get equal playing time? Playing time is based upon talent, commitment, game-time situations, and other coaching decisions. Each player will play in each game to increase the development, however games are played to win.

  • Does everyone who tries out make the team? Players are selected based on ability, we do our best to minimize cuts but in cases not all kids make a team.

  • Are there A and B teams? Teams will be determined after tryouts. We do our best to accommodate all players that have an interest in our program.

  • How do I know if I made the team? Teams will be notified immediately after the last tryout.

  • Who coaches the teams? The full list of coaches can be found on our staff tab. Our coaches come from highly qualified backgrounds with experience at the college, high school, and AAU level we are here to help develop your children!

  • When are the practices? Teams will have two practices a week, 90 minutes each practice. Practice schedules are not finalized until after tryouts and teams are formed. We do our best to accommodate scheduling requests.

  • Where are practices and games held? Most practices are held at the Wayne P.A.L. (some may be held at DePaul Catholic HS) games are held on the weekends at various locations. 2 Travel Tournaments (Atlantic City & Spooky Nook) , 1 South Jersey (Sportika) , and 4-5 Local (Passaic/Bergen County Areas)

  • When are the tournaments? Tournaments are held on weekends. Teams play a minimum of 2-3 games per tournament. Most teams will attend the same tournaments, each tournament will have divisions which will be determined based on the team's talent level.

  • What is the commitment level? We are looking for committed players! We understand how busy kids are so we are flexible when conflicts come up, but coming to practice every day shows discipline and care. Don’t kid yourself showing up to practice leaves a lasting impact on coaches.

  • What is your refund policy for this and other programs? No refunds are given.
